My religion is kindness
said the flower to the bee
come and take my nectar
it’s a gift to you from me.

said the mother to her son
we’ve learned a lot together
and it’s been a lot of fun.

said the husband to his wife
let’s treat each other nicely
and we’ll have a better life.

My religion is kindness
said the apple to its tree
help me not to fall
until it’s time to harvest me.

My religion is kindness
said the morning to the sun
I enable you to rise
when the night is done.

My religion is kindness
said the forest to the tree
no need to feel alone
stay and stand with me.

My religion is kindness
said the earth to the seed
trust and I will care for you
I’ll fill your every need.

My religion is kindness,
sweet Jesus said to me
I am here to help you
and keep you company.
