Immortality

Do you know with certainty you are an immortal being? Are you devoted to nourishing a deepening awareness of this eternal truth? It is helpful to understand the allegorical nature of the story of Adam and Eve.

God created Adam and Eve in His own image and likeness (as immortals). He created the Garden of Eden (paradise) where they could live in eternal harmony. He warned them not to partake of the forbidden fruit of the tree of good and evil (carnal knowledge), or they would soon forget their immortal heritage and become entranced in a dream of mortality (original sin). This pervasive unawareness of their immortality would become the agonizing and heretofore bequeathed delusive plague of mortal man’s thinking (fear of death).

Therefore, to transcend this dream of mortality (hell), should be our primary goal in life. Once we awaken from this insidious illusion (belief in death), we are free to live in an ever-expanding paradise of contemplation (love) which is ours by divine right.

We will have restored the lost clarity of divine sight (intuitive wisdom), which is always ours to reclaim. We will bask in the blissful glow of eternally enlightening truth (grace). We will trust in God’s eternally sheltering love and guidance (consciousness of immortality).
