The Lost Garden of Eden

Union with God, is experiencing God as bliss, love, peace, light, intuition, immortality, and may be achieved through wisdom, morality and dedication to one’s evolving illumination. Within the urgent demands of daily life it is required of our immortal souls to find God now. Christ Jesus emphasized the eternal, inseparable relationship between God and his children with the use of the words “Our Father” as he set forth so eloquently in “The Lord’s Prayer.” In God’s beneficence and love all beings can find inner strength, peace, joy and realization. We need only lift the insidious, soul shrouding veil of delusion to be aware of his presence.

To live in the consciousness of God is to be through with enslavement to suffering and fear. To experience the Divine Presence brings happiness into one’s life beyond all expectations. Through unfailing devotion we can behold each unfolding drama with the calm joy of life as seen through a lens of immortality. We begin to see eternal life through God’s eyes. We realize age and time are non-existent. We become aware we are, and life is, eternal. We rekindle the purity of childhood when we trust that we are secure in God’s loving care. The deeper our communion with God the more we transcend the ensnaring web of delusion.

A consistent inner happiness unconditioned by external influence is proof of the responding presence of God and the magnificence of his eternal illumination. God wants us to live our lives as “immortals” so we can remain detached from life’s constant roller coaster ride. We intuitively understand, “This too shall pass.” When we are ready to leave “this stage of life” we can say with certainty, “Father, this was all very enlightening but now I am ready to come home.” By steadfast devotion I have regained the purity of “The Lost Garden of Eden.”
