The Turning Point

Like the Sun that slowly rises in the East dispelling the seeming darkness, each of us will eventually realize we are eternally safe in God’s loving care. Peace will blossom in us to the degree we understand this phenomenon to be true. Christ Jesus simply said, “you reap what you sow.” Did he mean what you believe happens? “We are made in God’s image and likeness” and we understand God to be perfect and eternal. Therefore it follows we too are perfect and eternal. We can dispel the beliefs of vulnerability to the painful illusions we are continually exposed to.

Because a cloud hides the Sun, does it mean the Sun does not exist? So it is with omnipotent, omniscient, omnipresent God. Because our erroneous beliefs are blocking us from his love, perfection and protection, does not mean he is not eternally available to protect, correct, guide and love us. It simply means our consciousness has not yet unfolded to this level of spiritual comprehension. Once we realize the perfection of our infinite connection to God our perception of life changes. We become as Christ Jesus counseled us to be, “as little children,” safe in our father mother God’s loving bosom throughout eternity. We are able to perceive the safety we once felt as little children, the safety born of innocence.

“Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart and all thy soul and all thy might and have no false gods before you” simply means that every time we put more faith in a doctor, a medicine, a person, every time we think God is unavailable, in a particular instance, to keep us safe from the hypnotic suggestions of mass thinking, we are violating the first commandment. We are commanded to have implicitly unshakable trust in God. The same God that has the power to heal us also has the power to keep us well. The same God that has the power to see us through tragedy reflects the harmony that can avert tragedy. The same God that created us has the power to protect and guide us throughout eternity. We need only roll back the clouds of erroneous thinking to reveal the magnificent vision of our father mother God who is always beckoning us to come closer, to avail ourselves of his eternal love and protection and to understand our truly magnificent and indestructible selves.

In the realm of God and his eternal permanence time is measured by our unfoldment. This unfoldment is constant and joy filled once we realize we are not vulnerable to the incredible misconceptions of erroneous thought. We need no longer experience suffering in order to grow spiritually. Life becomes the constantly joyous existence it is always meant to be. We have become spiritual beings who have risen above the human experience through the spiritualization of our thoughts. Once acquired, this enlightened understanding is “The turning point of eternal life.” We realize “The truth has made us free” from our self-imposed limitations. The Kingdom of Heaven has unfolded in our consciousness.
